The service

ReconBike helps you prepare for a bike ride: it shows the surface, wind and resupply points for a route, lays out loops and analyses recorded rides. The provider is Damian Obajtek, ul. Powstańców Śląskich 3, 43-300 Bielsko-Biała, tax ID (NIP) 9372743771, REGON 522150617.

The app can be used without an account. An account is needed only to sync routes between devices.

The service is free. The agreement starts when you begin using it and lasts while you use it; with an account, until the account is deleted.

Technical requirements

A current browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari) with JavaScript on, or an iOS or Android phone with the app installed, plus internet access. An account needs an email address.

You may not upload unlawful content or try to disrupt the service.

The data the app relies on

Surfaces, resupply points and opening hours come from OpenStreetMap, and wind from a forecast. They may be incomplete, out of date or wrong. Part of the surface is estimated and marked as such.

Routes laid out by the app are made automatically. Look the route over before riding and judge for yourself whether it suits you and your bike.

Liability

You ride at your own risk and in line with traffic law. The app is no substitute for your own judgement of conditions on the road.

The service is provided as it is. It depends on outside services that are sometimes unavailable; part of the information will then be missing.

Account

You sign in with a code sent to your email address. You can delete the account in the app at any time, together with all its data.

Tips

A tip through buycoffee.to is voluntary and one-off. It unlocks no features and gives no right to anything extra. The payment follows that service’s rules.

Complaints and contact

Send comments and complaints to contact@reconbike.app. We reply within 14 days.

Changes to these terms

We announce changes on this page at least 14 days before they take effect, and by email to account holders. If you disagree, you can delete your account at any time. Polish law applies to matters not covered here, without taking away the rights a consumer has under the law of their own country.
